Yesterday we stopped by Wal Mart to get Charlie, our 2 y/o, a little training wheel bike. While we were there Jeni noticed a Mongoose kids BMX bike with an ABA tag on it. It was a really cool looking full-color card about 6'x9". It offered a free 30-day trial mambership, and (I think) a free race. The graphics on it were well done and it looked like a co-promotion with Mongoose/GT.
I am assuming that these are being put on all GT - Mongoose bikes. Have any of the volunteers at the track actually seen these presented? It would be good to see this promo work.

Curtis,
The ABA promotional tags are suppose to be on all Pacific Bicycles BMX bikes (Mongoose, GT and Schwinn). It is something that very few people know about. I havent heard how much of an impact it has made in new riders... hopefully it is growing.

I thought that when we did the county fair races we brought in alot of people, some one was actually telling me that we brought in at least 130 new members this season. I thought that that was cool.
