Say a prayer for the Godfather of Utah BMX.

I talked to Kris Park today & he told me that his step-dad Bob Lunak is battling cancer & is pretty much hating it right now.

For those who don't know him, Bob has been around the scene longer than I can remember. He was the T.O. of Riverview/Twin Peaks through the lean years on 86'-94' when the sport was down. He has had many a team effort locally & nationally. When I think of the movers & shakers of the local Utah scene he is at the top of the list. Please send some postive thoughts his way in your day.

Thanks,

b.

Thanks for letting us know Bruce. He was a true figurehead in the Utah BMX scene for so many years. Our thoughts and prayers and with him, Chris and the rest of his family. Best wishes and Fight hard Bob!

Also, to add to what Bruce said, if any of you have ever seen a Body Belt, Bob was the man behind that. I'm sorry to hear that he is a cancer victim. I will, however, be glad to hear that he is a cancer survivor. FIGHT, BOB, FIGHT!
