HUH???

I think this may have come about because of me unloading a couple of bikes. But, rest assured, your state champion is still a BMX junky.

I have recently aquired two new bikes, a Staats 20" and Staats 24", so I will be showcasing my stuff at a track near you soon.

Another thing that may have added fuel to this rumor is the lack of me riding recently. Well, a couple of things happening on this front.

One, Spencer managed to de-pedalize his bike (stripped the threads right out of the cranks) on the pro section in Tooele. I've never seen this happen before, and it is really strange because I didn't see him take a particularly hard landing either. Anyway, I had to order a crankset for him, so no racing until the bike was repaired (picked them up Thursday and they are now on).

Two, I could have raced Saturday at Tooele, but I had a tuff decision to make. My wifes family has ALWAYS gotten together every Saturday evening. All of her siblings and their families all congregate at my father-in-laws house for dinner, cards, dice games, all the cousins playing, boxing match (on TV, not with each other)......we just all meet and visit. Well, you may have noticed that I don't go to Tooele much, and it's because I have such a hard time not going to the family thing. I love the Tooele track, and of course I love racing, but it's just at an inconvenient time. I am going to try and make it out every other week, and go to the family thing the other times, and see how that works out.

Short of it is, I have new bikes, Spencer will soon be on his new Supercross (if it ever gets here), and we are both looking forward to great summer of racing!!

Anything else you need to know, Bruce?
