ABA/UCI races on TV

Postby greg » Mon Oct 12, 2009 11:41 pm

Anybody been watching the ABA UCI Continental races on Vs.?

Any reactions?

I've watched all 3 that have aired so far and think they are doing a bang up job. You can definately tell that the announcers as well as the riders are getting more comfortable doing the show. It's very cool seeing racing back on TV and it seems to be done well, so I'm optimistic that this will help with numbers both locally and nationally. In fact, I read over at Vintage that the ABA has fielded allot of calls stemming from the commercials ran during the show.

Oh, and it is pretty cool seeing Rad Canyon in both the show intro and the commercials. Now we just need to get Rad Canyon on the UCI schedule.

We have been watching and thought that was rad canyon in the promo's. The aba commercial should really spark some intrest. Hope to see semi's on a regular basis throughout indoor. Come on all you old school adult riders dust off your gear and come out and race

I DVR'd Ep 1 & 2 on VsHD but Ep 3 got messed up--only recorded the first 7 minutes, or so. I'm going to have to fix my DVR recording to make sure I can catch the rest of them. They are available online @ http://www.go211.com/u/abaucicontinentalseries

And yes, they are VERY nicely put together--other than that dork Kennan Harkin or whatever...

PS: did you see Khalen Young's crash in the main in Ep 2? Wow!!!
