And so it is done

Postby J Gallo » Mon Jun 18, 2007 9:24 pm

My new camera has been purchased. Got expedited shipping (1-2 days) so I'm hoping to have it before Thursday's racing. I'd like to get at least 1 day of practice before I attempt to use it at the National; keeping my fingers crossed for a Saturday attendance. Unfortunately Friday and Sunday are out.

Here is what I got:

Canon EOS 30D
w/ EF 28-135mm IS Lens

Of course with Brian out there doing a damn AWESOME job with his pics, maybe I can sneak in a few laps on the bike now too :)

It will be GREAT to get back out to the track! Seems like every time I try something always comes up. Just like last night when I was informed my wife has to work late on Thursday, but I'm still planning on making it out.

Brian, if all goes well in KC next week, I'm hoping to spend some extended time at home and get back to my normal Utah BMX duties. :D

Well it looks like the camera was delayed in shipping, so instead of getting it today (Fedex schedule still says today), it looks like it will be at least tomorrow. :(

Everyone keep their fingers crossed, cause I really want to give this thing a good test drive tomorrow night at the races. Cause I'm going tonight to pick up a 2gb CF card, so I'll have plenty of room for pics :)
