BMX yardsale @ RC indoors Sat. Can this happen?

Postby bnd » Tue Oct 31, 2006 5:11 pm

I was talking to another older BMXer today & we were talking about how much BMX "stuff" we have cluttering up our homes. I personally have 10 frames, 3 wheelsets, cranks, & a ton of misc. parts I would love to unload for cheap. Including a bunch of uniforms.

Putting all this up for sale on the site is a royal pain.
We have done this in the past at both the indoor & outdoor sites. Could the powers that be pick one, just one, Saturday night this indoor season for everybody to bring out their used equipment & we could have a "BMX yard sale"?

If it happens, we will promote it big time here.

What do you say?

-And a garage sale is a great idea! I'd love to buy and sell stuff.

I believe the County has some pretty strict rules regarding selling items on their property thus the vending fees charged. There is a RC board meeting next week and it can be presented to the board to be forwarded to the County for their review. I will add it the agenda and supply an update as soon as there is a decision.

Yep, the county will let us have a BMX swap meet but there is one stipulation.... to participate you have to have raced more than 4 times locally in the last year so I guess that leaves you out Bruce :P

The county has agreed to let us pick one day during the indoor season for the flea market, we now just have to plan a day for it. How about Saturday January 13th?
