Big Changes

Postby bmxmomof2racers » Thu Jun 08, 2006 2:37 pm

I'm here to apologize for my lack of reports coming from Wyoming. We are in the middle of some big changes in our family! I'm sorry (and Happy) to say we will be moving out of state this summer. Clint will be working for the same company in Northern Minnesota, so we have been working hard at getting our house ready for the market. Unfortunately that means we have not been getting as much racing in as we would like.

Razor City BMX continues to grow. We are still signing up new members every week. It has started to slow down a little, but the word is really out in the community right now. We've had rider counts as high as 77 riders. The track looks great!!!! Some of you may not now, but your very own Steve Spencer was here last year redoing our track! The track still challenges all of our riders and is attracting more attention from the out of town riders as well. We've even had a couple of our older riders that had stopped racing come back this year.

After no races in Douglas WY last year they have started up again this year! We are glad to see them open back up and many of our local riders have been there to race and help them get back on their feet. Unfortunately, we have been unable to attend a race in Douglas, but we will hit at least one before we move.

Casper has also started racing and I believe there is a state qualifier in Rock Springs this weekend!

I will try and report more on these tracks after we finally get to race consistently again! Oh-and Jason you may have to make a new spot for reports from Minnesota!

Whatever you need, just let me know :)

btw, I'm still planning to putting together a quick website for RCBMX if they still want one. I'm actually going to get a week at home (woo hoo!!) next week, so I plan on getting caught up with all the stuff that I have put off during the last 10 weeks of travel.
