I think Steve took first today. He was looking way fast.

Yes indeed Six String beat out some tough competition to make the win. [edit; I'm not sure how 2nd and 3rd went?] Jason was 2 and Tate (visitor from Idaho) took third. Dustin had an crash in turn two. Some great racing, and I feel like I'm really getting faster every night, unfortunately my comrades are improving at a faster rate. :P Had a great time!

what a great night. Although 2.5 hours between my qualifier and the main was enough to make my joints get stiff.

Sounds like I DEFINITELY need to start racing cruiser, just to stay warm and loose. Everyone was looking way fast out there. We have an awesome class. Logan, thanks for your kind congratulations, I will never forget that. There were four reasons that I won tonight.

1) I was in gate 2
2) I had the best gate of my life (total luck)
3) Logan was worn out from racing an extra 2 or 3 races
4) There was a crash behind me.

All in all, I lucked out and it was my night. But next week, who knows. That's what's so awesome about our class. The scales could tip any way.

I'll tell ya what though, I've never met a nicer group of guys than our class, and I think what makes our class so awesome is that we're all in the same skill level. It's not like anyone is winning by an entire straight. We hang together as a pack, and it sure makes for some fun times. I'm glad nobody was injured. And the surprise of the night was Dustin. That dude is WICKED fast. His front tire was in my peripheral all night. Don't let the fact that he has only raced twice fool ya, he's a quick guy.

What city are you in? I don't think I'll be driving to Salina next weekend, so I may be down to hit a skatepark or maybe some dirt jumps. What sorts of things are you trying to practice?

I live in Riverton, I am not heading to the races this weekend but want to work on jumps and manuals, without getting thorns in my tires.

no matter what, I'll be riding on Saturday. Not sure where yet, but you and everyone else is welcome to join me. If there isn't any snow, I'll probably hit the draper bike park. If there is snow, then it'll probably be a skate park. There's a slim chance I'll be racing Salina this weekend, so that might be an option as well.

Have you been able to attend a clinic yet Brett? That's really a great way to systematically focus on your skills on the track.

Yeah i have been to a couple clinics. I just need some practice time to work on some stuff and not be worried about lots of people needing the track. The draper bike track would be cool if there is no snow, and thorns. I want to ride this weekend, but i am not going to the races.
