I think if we brought our propane torches, some brooms and a flat shovel, we'd be able to get rid of almost all the snow. The intermediate track is in the shadows, so the snow melts slower.

I'm trying to fight off the flu, hopefully my mom let's me go outside and play on saturday. If i'm not well enough to ride, then I'll at least be there to film everything.

looks like we got a little rain last night. That should help melt the rest of the snow. The conditions should be perfect on saturday.

On Tuesday the intermediate run had very little snow on it, and most of it was in the backside of the third jump. The beginner and advanced runs had considerable snow on them. The beginner was very ride-able. The advanced wasn't ride-able by me, that's not to say someone who can jump couldn't ride it, but there was still quite a bit of snow on most of it.

Is this still happening? I am bringing Joey, Cody and a few others if it is. If not, we will go to Istreet.

It would be fun to have some others as well.

it's still on, the more the merrier! It'll be pretty relaxed all day. I plan on getting there around 11 and staying 'till 4 or so. Hopefully the snow is all gone by tomorrow. With the weather we've been having, I'd expect it to be pretty dry.

Just so you know, there aren't any huge backflip jumps here like I-street, but I think it's a great blend between a race track and dirt jumps. Lots of berms, and the trails have pretty good flow.

Having said that, I've never been to I-street, I've only seen videos on YouTube. I'd love to hit I-street in a week or so.

and for those who are on the fence, or new to BMX, definitely come. It's a very welcome atmosphere and everything except the expert line is rideable by a complete beginner. It's a really great place to learn to pump, balance, jump, and flow on your bike. I'll be bringing a couple kids who have never ridden a bike on dirt before, and they're going to have a blast.

I'll have my GoPro with me. If you have a mount, you're welcome to wear it. I have a seat post mount and a chest mount that I'd be happy to let anyone use. I also have curved sticky mounts for helmets. They're $5 each (or $20 for 5 at best buy) if anyone wants to buy one from me when we get there.

It looks like it may rain/snow a little tonight. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it'll be rain. Regardless, if we bring brooms (or leaf blowers), there should be no problem. In fact, that may mean we'll have the place to ourselves since others won't want to ride in the snow. It will be a bit chilly tomorrow, so bring a sweatshirt.

worst case scenario, we ride the nearby draper skatepark, but I doubt the snow (if we even get any) will be a problem. Keep your eyes on this thread for updates. But for now, I'll be there at 11 ready to sweep of the berms and jumps, and ready to ride.

I can't see over traverse mountain, but this side of the mountain didn't get any snow. Just CRAZY wind last night. Bundle up. It should be dry but cold out there today.

Dang! My Mom says I can go, but I am trapped in So Cal. Have a great ride. Sounds like a good crowd should be on hand. Wish the boys and I could be there, but WE are going to check out the track at Chula Vista tomorrow! Happy New Year from So Cal BMX baby!
