Today is the 14-under classes. Cody is the only one that races today. But the rules for everything are strict: must wear gloves, must wear socks that cover your ankle, Absloutely no skin showing. SLing shot your Disqalified, Last turn you pick a lane and you stay in that lane no moving over unless to pass the person in front of you. officials can call anything. If a contry has some one that is in your moto lets say like Colombia and your in fron of their rider and he doesnt like the place hes been getting they can DQ you to move their rider up. They dont like you you can get DQ'ed

Just got a quick call from Melton who told me Cody Kelley has raced twice, and come in 3rd both races. Which is good news because they are taking the top 4. Great job Cody!!

Cody is the only Utahn racing today (14 and under), pretty much everyone else races tomorrow.

More updates to come....

Well we just got done with our Team USA meeting and USA won 11 of 17 classes today and they are hoing for same or better results tomorrow. There were 79 motos for the 14 and unders today and they will have 50 something motos tomorrow. The race is not run in age group order but by biggest rider count to smallest rider count. So 17-24 has 90+ riders so they go first followed by 16 boys then masters(vet pro) and my age group (25 riders) is somewhere in the middle. We dont have to go check the moto boards, my team mananger gets me the moto #'s and my gates. Woohoo talk about pampering LOL. We start warm up at 8am and races start 9am. Elite practice begins at 2pm so its goona be fast and furious racing. We do have 2 massage therapists working for team USA to massage us during motos if wanted, more pampering!!! We have some very cool plates to run while we are racing and the race officials make us run these side plates on our bikes behind the head tube to help with identification.

Tiff and I went to watch the races today and the atmosphere is intense. I got al hyped up and Mitch was too!!! WE wanna ride. The vibe at the track is awesome and there are so many countries here. There are riders from South Africa racing...........Long trip man, same for Aussie's and the New Zealanders!!!!!!!!!! Amazing how far people will go for a BMX race!
I am hoping to get some sleep tonight since i am so pumped to be here and get out on the track!!!! I am sending Gallo some more pics to post up of the races today!!!

Id have to see it is wayyy weird watching the races... well like all of the races. USA did so good. Cody rode awesome top 3 everytime. two 3rds and a 2nd in the third round. In quaters he got 5th i think. But theres always the cruiser race on sunday.

The races are way intense youve got 39 countries yelling for their riders. its pretty cool. But i just cant wait to race.

Well we are back home....uh hotel and I am winding down. Wish i would have done better. I made it out of motos and into the quarters but didnt make it out of them. I had 8 riders in my moto and ran a 4th a 5th and a 2nd to get out.
30+ men was stacked and very very fast.

Mitch rode awesome all day!!!! He was in the moto right in front of me so it was hard to watch his whole race however I always saw him in 1st or 2nd in the motos.

Next up cruiser on Sun. I am looking forward to watching Elite races tomorrow.

The funniest part of the day was when we walked by the Italian team and they are all commenting about how hot Tiff is and what a hottie blonde American she was.She had on Red white and blue beads and I had my USA jersey on. Well since Tiff grew up in Italy and speaks some Italian she turned around and told them thank you and that she understood what they were saying. Their jaws dropped and they all are embarrassed and laughing. I thought it was hysterical!!!!!
