Lots of fun watching from the stands on Sunday for sure. I don't know when I'll be out again if its this year or what, but I'll be surfing around on this site & Vintage BMX.com.
Here's a link to my race report & pics over at that site......

well, I'd have to say that the whole day was very well run, and very fun. I enjoyed watching the 31-35 cruiser action.........uh, I mean being a part of the 31-35 cruiser action. You guys are amazingly fast...........or I'm amazingly slow.........and I always have fun no matter who I'm behind, but being behind you Jason is something special
seriously though, it was a great day of racing. The awards presentation was very cool. I tell ya, it lit a fire in my son Spencer's belly...........he said he WILL be on top of the podium next year! Which is exactly what it should do, make the people up there this year feel good, and make the ones not up there yern to be there next year.
An all around great job by RAD Canyon and all of the crew, especially Mike Kelly for 'chearing' at me in the first corner.
Congrat's to you Jason Melton for your accomplishment, and to the rest of the state champs!!
I have now put to rest the "moto-filler" name, but now what to call myself?? Any ideas?

Congrats to all our NEW (and repeat) 2004 Utah State Champions!
It really was a great day of racing, if it hadn't been so WINDY, it would have been perfect.
Here's a few of my favorite pics I took from Sunday's SCF. Here's the entire album of pics if you'd like to check them out: RAD's SCF Pics
TP Todd Parry and a couple of other pros, including Fly's Ray Hudson, that came down to thrill the crowd.
It's a little hard to tell, but Matt Spencer (in orange and black TLD uni) raced with a broken left ankle! He's still in a cast and had a "boot" over it, and he didn't just roll the gate, he put in a full lap! You're my hero Matt!
Bennett "Bulldog" Newkirk on his way to the win in 6i.
Heather "Hottie Pootatie" Allred followed by sister Hollie Allred.
16x Travis Healey, 15x Jeremiah Fazzio and 15x Danny Patterson.
A few more to come....

A few more to come....
Crowd pleaser of the day! 42 yr old Mike Kelley airing out the big double during his main. Hey, you might as well take advantage of the 40mph tail wind!
Everyone wanted the inside line. Lot's of rubbin goin on.
51+ Cruiser action. George Cassanova getting some air over the double, followed by Ron Melton.
That's gonna leave a mark!
Did someone say pit bikes? In the lead from left to right, Steve Spencer, Ian Elliot, Heather Allred and Dean Ludlow.
The people that do it day after day and make RAD Canyon a great track! Thanks to all our volunteers!
