Indoor Track Build Volunteers Needed

Postby sspencer » Thu Nov 02, 2006 12:22 pm

Attention all Utah BMXer's,
November 17th will be start of the Rad Canyon Indoor season. The Friday of each race weekend we have a race of our own.... a race to build the track. In an 8 hour period we have to crank out a track to race on for the weekend and we need your help. We are looking for volunteers that can come out a couple hours early prior to the Friday race (around 3:00 to 4:00pm) to help groom the track. Any and all help is appreciated. We take great pride in assembling one of the best indoor race programs and facilities in the country and we know that you, as Utah BMXers and families, take great pride in being a part of the program.

All who plan to make it out, please email me ( steves@utahbmx.com ) so I can coordinate the volunteers. Lets make this the BEST UTAH INDOOR SEASON EVER!

Thank you in advance,
Steve

Travis,
Start a new thread with the topic of indoor track ideas and we can make it a contest before each race weekend to see whose ideas are selected. It will be great to get some fresh ideas. Just remember the limitations we have; amount of dirt, time and flow of the track.

Thanks Trav'

Rad Canyon Indoor Round #2 this weekend!!!

We are again looking for a few volunteers that can come out on Friday afternoon to help with the final grooming and packing of the track. If you can make it, please come on out.

I want to thank all who made it out to help with the first indoor weekend. I greatly appreciate all of the assistance as we had one of the best indoor tracks ever!

I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend for some great indoor racing..... UTAH STYLE!

Thanks,
Steve

I so miss being out there for the build, I just can't seem to make it out early so far this year. I know how hard every one works to get the track ready and we should all give thanks to the people who do make it out to help! :D

A sign of a good race, is one that you cross the finish line, on your bike!!
