Sat. I showed up with my 6 Race for Lifers and a hope that they would all be able to ride- and race.
The amazing production begain...I first was lent three sets of pads, 2 helmets, (and a partridge...) and a chest protector from BRUCE RITTER.
The next help came from CURTIS NEWKIRK as he lent Bennett's bike to a 7 year old big wheel rider. Jesse took 7 laps and a 2nd in a big wheel race. The RAD CANYON crew made his night with a huge trophy!
MATT SPENCER then approached me and asked if we had enough bikes and helmets. He then lent Lindsey's awesome supercross 20" to Jaden. A RFLer who was almost lapped!

LEE GEDDINGS offerd his bike and helmet for a RFLer Paul. Paul had a great time amoung the 22 riders in his 28 + moto! What a group! Thanks Lee! You're the kind of guy Ogden would need as a TO! Thanks for stepping up and helping out in staging.
DAVE WILLIAMS lent his helmet to my buddy Conrad. RICK EGLINTINE (sp?) lent his 20" to the same guy. This rider and Rick's bike came in 5th place in the SEMI final- OOOOH- Just on the bubble! Thanks you guys!
DAN PATTERSON built a cruiser from scratch for Amy. This asian sensation and the aforementioned bike made the main and ended up 3rd in the 31-35 ladies cruiser race. Dan also coached and mentored some of my RFLers! Dan, Congrats on your win Saturday. You took it to ol' Mike n' Matt!
My pit crew JONETTE,SAM, and my sister D. J. also need a thanks thrown at them. Thanks for filming, hydrating, encouraging, and sticking around for a solid 8 hours! You guys are tops! Welcome to my world!

My RFLers all expressed amazement to the entire STAFF at RAD CANYON for the help they received when they needed it. Registration, staging, moto posting, new rider meetings, and crashing- they had help every step of the way. We only had one rider miss a moto all race! Not bad!
Thanks for making this day a fun experience for the RFLers I brought. They have expressed interest in returning and racing in the near future!
