I have the power! * Now with Photographic Proof! *

Postby J Gallo » Wed Jul 07, 2004 12:29 pm

Ok, it's rare for me to have a monumental achievement in my racing career, so I'm gonna brag about this one. Please hold your applause until the very end, thank you.

Last night, we had a tough class of 28+ with Melton, Eglintine, Cardwell, Spencer and myself. Well needless to say I came in last (Matt rode me high in the last corner and held on for 4th, wtg Matt!). So, eager to improve upon that finish, I stayed after to get some more practice laps in. Well first lap out, I run down the 1st straight as hard as I can, over the double and into the 1st turn, I go to manual the step-up, and I guess I got the right lift (or wrong lift) and end up jumping it! I had a friggin smile from ear to ear. Now while this may seem a minor accomplishment to some, this was huge cause I've always had this mental block when it came to jumping anything at RAD.

Looking foward to Thursdays race now!

 LOL

I admit, it's such an unbelievable achievement, that photographic evidence might be necessary to substantiate these seemingly preposterous claims. If I were on the other side, I'd believe Wes could do it before me. :)

I'll see what I can do on thursday!

True, Mikey can still out jump me, and Wes usually just out-snaps me in the gate, but I'm getting better! :P

Way to go, Jason!!

I feel the exact same way every time I make it around Rad without crashing. My next goal is to get the front wheel off the ground.

The photo is a little hard to see, is that you? because someone could confuse that with the picture of BIGFOOT that came out 20 yrs ago. There has been recent sighting in this area.

I'll vouch for Jason. It's him. I took the pic. I could have done better but it's a start! 8)

Maybe it is Jason but what Jason? Maybe Jason paid Jason to look like Jason but it's really not the Jason everyone thinks. :? Was there a pay-off last night? A switch of clothing and bike?
