Questions about state finals race
We are thinking about racing the state finals race Sept 10-11. What time is registration? We will be bringing Teagon and Teryn Overman hopefully for the race on Saturday and Sunday. Any other helpful information would be great.

I'm not sure of the exact times (I'll find out tonight and have them posted on the site by tomorrow) but I'm pretty sure Saturday will be an afternoon race (reg 3-5pm or so) and sunday will be an early race (reg 9-10am probably). We tried to be kind to the out-of-towners ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Steve, We hope you are in town too. It would be great to see you again and talk with your wife more. I'm thinking some positive Utah BMX is just what the doctor ordered for the Overman family. Can't wait for the races.
The track has made an amazing difference in our riders this year. Unfortunately, we had two huge rain storms come through the week before Dacono that did some major damage to the track. One of them was the same storm that formed the tornado that leveled the trailer court in Wright. We haven't been able to race locally at all since Dacono. We are having a big meeting with the club to see if we can schedule some work days to get it up and going again. Hopefully all will be okay soon!
Do you put any chemicals on your track such as calcium chloride to help with moisture problems? I'm sure we talked about it when you were here, but I can't remember. Any suggestions would be great!

Unfortunately it looks like we will not be able to make the Utah State Finals
With gas prices so high we have decided it might be best to cut back on some of the travel and cut back on the demand for gas. We were really looking forward to the good time and good racing that Utah always provides. We are going to try and make it down when the indoor season gets rolling! Let us know when you get that schedule figured out so we can hit some races!!! Good Luck to all of the racers at state and have fun!!! ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

bmxmomof2racers,
Sorry to hear you won't be able to make it down. I understand about the gas prices though. It's tough for alot of families out there, even those within Utah.
Some indoor dates have already been set, and I hope to get the final schedule information posted on the site once it's given to me.
Here's the 2005 dates I know of:
Nov 18-20
Dec 30-31 (Jan 1?)
