Just in case you didn't know, the state finals will be in Rock Springs this year. I believe I heard they have two single points races on August 18 and 19th a double point race on August 20th and the state finals on August 21st.
Who all plans on attending from Utah? It will be great to see all of you there!

It sounds like a few sleep-deprived Utahns made it up to Rock Springs for the State Championship Finals. I heard from Bruce today and he said he had a GREAT time racing, but unfortunately forgot his camera
Anyone have some pics they'd like to send over? I'll post 'em up!

It was great to see some of the Utah group in Wyoming. I talked to Bruce and it sounds like the fair was a great success. I'm hoping that next year we will be able to attend the fair in Utah. What an event.
The state races in Rock Springs were lots of fun. The group in Rock Springs did a great job getting the track ready especially with the reports of the rain I heard about. The event went smooth. It seems like everyone had a great time.
Team Pedal Slave was able to walk away with the team trophy on both Saturday and Sunday. YEAH!!!! They tied with Performance Bike Parts on Saturday. The tie breaker went all the way down to rider count!!! What a competition. We were also able to win 9 state titles in our group. Dabion Bachtold won in both 10 cruiser and class. Hailey Lazarus won in 9G and 10 and under Girl cruiser, Teagon won in 12 cruiser and class, Jay Frear won 13 class, Jordan Frear in 15 class, and Erika Webb won 13 girl class. Kenny Lazarus placed second in state in 12 cruiser and class, and Zach Webb placed second in 16 class. The last member of the team is still out with a broken elbow and bent arm bone from a bad wreck in Rockford, so unfortunately Kaige Bowles was unable to attend the state races.
Unfortunately I'm not very good at getting pictures of the races. Something I will improve on.
I just wanted to say thanks to all of the volunteers in Rock Springs!! You did a great job.
I also want to say thanks to the Utah group that has included us in on their forum. Can't wait for the indoor season!!!!
