I think we are going to have to coordinate with some people to ensure that we have enough to make a class wherever we go. I think I am obligated on Sunday, so if it ends up being Vernal I may have to tell Bennett to hitch a ride. On Sunday morning you may see him on Hwy 40 with his bike, gear, and thumb out

Tena - do you have any five, six, or seven-year olds that have made Inter or Expert yet?

I was going to go to Vernal this weekend since I have family there but I won't be doing any racing for a few weeks. I dislocated my middle finger (right hand) while hiking Saturday. It was pointed sideways and didn't look just right. I grabbed it not even thinking and it popped back into place (add a loud scream of pain here) and I ended up breaking it.
I go in Friday to see if the swelling is down far enough to find how bad it is. The hike was breathtaking. I can't wait to go again but it sucks it had to hurt the 2 fingers I use to brake while riding. My index finger was jammed pretty good and my fingers are as fat as sausages.

I'm definitely not going to be able to attend Manti's SCR, and I've got a 20% chance of going to Deseret Peak saturday night.

I was planning on Vernals SCQ on Sunday, but I just found out 5 minutes ago I have to leave first thing Monday (6am) for CA for the week. So now that's up in the air too.

Oh the joy.....

I'm torn between hitting the two utah SCRs or going to Wyomings big weekend.

Spencer is trying to talk me into going to wyoming, but I'd kind of like to go to Manti and Vernal.

anybody have an idea as to how the older cruiser class (36-40) is at either Manti or Vernal? Is there anybody out there?

Jason M, are you going to either of the state races?

What should I do??????????

Hey everyone it's Tena in Vernal, looking forward to a great weekend in Vernal, hope you all make it!

Curtis,
I believe we have a couple 7 year old inters.

Greg, I know we usually have a pretty good older cruiser class, we usually have a cruiser class just with our local riders.

If anyone else needs info, please let me know, you can e-mail me at flutterbytd@yahoo.com if you need too.

Thank You All For Your Support, without it we might not have our track in Vernal. You are ALL AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have A Great Day !! :D :) :D !!!!

Well, I got out of my commitment on Sunday so it looks like we may be heading to Vernal.

Tena - Thanks! If you have a couple of 7I's that will race Sunday that alone is enough to get us out there. Bennett needs to get in one more SCQ because we may not be in town for Tooele's in August.

Do you guys know if you have to have ten single point races in this year to be eligible for state champion?

There is nothing in the 2005 rule book about having to race 10 or more single point races. At least I didnt read anything.

Hi Heather and All,

I just got a letter from the ABA today announcing that there is no longer a 10 single point race requirement to be eligible for the an award at the State Chapmpionship Series for 2005.
They said it was proving to be difficult to attain in certain areas of the country.
They also said that with the changes in hte actual number plated being awarded, there was no longer a concern that the State number plates would negatively inpact the district points race.

Hope that answered some questions,

Diana

well, looks like Vernal for me and Spencer.

I think we will skip Manti, too much driving. Too bad it is on the same weekend as Vernal.
