rad canyon track rebuild

Postby Guest » Sun Mar 06, 2005 5:19 pm

Steve says its time to rebuild, and it looks like this next weekend fri-sun we will be rebuilding RAD CANYON jason sould be putting the new track design up, to se if anyone has any other ideas or things that he can put in or that you think that will make the track better. remember that a pro split cant happen because of all the sprinklers. but i know that we can use any help from everyone that would like to help. also we want to put in a drain pipe in the last corner so that the water doesn't build up there for the pests. also maybe while steve rebuilds we can pull weeds or burn them to clean the place up.

Ok here is the plan- We are rebuilding the track this weekend and need help with the hand work. If you would like to help rebuild please plan on coming out around 1pm on Sunday! We need no help until then! The tractor work has to be done first and we dont want to distract Steve or be in his way!
We are hoping to have the track up and ridable by next weekend!
Please let me know if you plan to come help. Either reply here or call me on my cell phone 860-9357
All the help will be appreciated

Thanks boys!
With our current plan of attack we shouldnt need any hands-on-deck until Sunday, maybe late morning. So please come out to help build "YOUR TRACK". The track will only be as good as the riders/workers want to make it.
The chin and arm-rests have been removed from all the UDOT approved shovels and rakes. For those who dont know how to use such equipment, instructions will be supplied :P

Thanks,
John Deere

Coolio. On Sunday we can likely make it from 1:00 until about 4ish. Also let me know if there needs to be any facility maintenance. I don't know much about track building, but I am a pretty good fix-it guy. Saturday would work much better for me timewise so if there is any facility stuff then just let me know and I will bring the tools.

So when do you guys think we can get in some gates? We will probably be going to Pasco and it sure would be nice to have Bennett 'warm up' somewhere

Jason I think that if people showed up on saturday we could pull alot of weeds, burn weeds on both tracks, clean up and anything else that need to be done.

Well, if that's the criteria, it looks like it's gonna be a long day of pulling weeds for me! :P

And that reminds me, if we're gonna be doing all this weed burning, who's bringing the munchies?

I have to work until 2pm on saturday, but I can come by after that to help out if needed. Just call me.

It is G rated............. Gallo rated!!! LOL

For those who are wondering about Sat. We do not want to have a bunch of people running around while most of the tractor work is being done. If there are alot of kids running around it slows the tractor work down quite a bit! That is why we are having everyone show up on Sunday!

Is there enough weed(s) for everyone? We may want to make sure that the snack bar is stocked to handle all the hungry workers. I can invite a few of firends who can help burn some weeds; Billy Bong Thornton and Wesley Pipes. In the immortal words of Jeff Spicolli "Hey bud! Lets party!"

But seriously kids, this is your brain on weeds, this is....

Just poking a lil' fun at Mr. Gallo's expense
