Deseret Peak Track Work Days!

Postby D Cook » Wed Mar 02, 2005 7:53 pm

Hi all,

We are going to be out at the track every Saturday between now and
the start of the season to do some track clean up (pulling weeds) and to fix and add to the track, there will also be 2 weekends we will be holding our membership drive at Macey's Grocery Store on main street in Tooele.

There was some talk at one point about getting a few riders to come to our membership drive and answer questions and get some excitement going, anyone still interested? We are!

We would welcome any help we can get, during the next few weeks to make this year as good as it can get!

We will be starting at 9 am every Saturday.

The Dates and Times are as follows

March 5th (9:00 am we will have a short meeting so that we can get orginized and make sure everyone is on the same page with what is happening)

March 12th

March 19th

March 25th Friday Membership Drive 6-8pm (no working on the track)

March 26th Saturday Membership Drive 9-12 (Track work also)
April 2nd

April 8th Friday Membership Drive 6-8pm (no working on the track)

April 9th Saturday Membership Drive 9-12 (Track work also)

I can't make it this Saturday, I'm helping Andrew clean out the shop in Spanish Fork. That will take most of the day.

Unfortunately, I'll be working every saturday for probably at least the next couple months :(

I'd like to come out and help, but my only day off right now is Sunday.

Well, I got out of going to Wyoming so I will go check things out for a few hours & pull weeds. I'll also take some pic's on the condition of the track.
9am sharp.
