Most people could of not riddin a bicycle after ten years. it just goes to show that if you have it you have it and all the rest want it. I am verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry proud to have the fastest vet/AA pro riding a static plate. i have the opportunity to sponsor the top people in our sport and you are there. IF ANY OF YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT TODD, DOPE/STATIC AT THE NEXT INDOOR,WILL PAY YOU 100 DOLLARS IF YOU DO IT .IF NOT YOU WILL PAY TODD 100. PUT YOUR MONEY UP OR SHUT UP.

Hey TP,

You could have saved yourself all that typing by just typing this....

In my BEST Dr. Evil impression... ahem..ahem...

" Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. "

:D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D LOL LOL

You know why there are no posts about people beating ME on a Redline? Cause everyone knows YOU ARE the fastest in Utah. Period. You are the one people try to compare themselves to. Don't worry about the anonymous Guest, just take some pride that when people talk about the best, the "TP" initials always come up! :)

By the way, I hope you found the first part of this funny, along with everyone else!!!

Hopefully now back to our regularly scheduled thread topic :)

Come on guys... this was a "FANTASY" thread, right??? So ease up!
I dont care who beat who. TP is a great racer, represents UTAH BMX to the fullest and my money would be on him if we loaded everybody in Utah in a gate and had a race. But ANYONE can be beat at any time, SO WHAT! It doesnt change who we are as people and at the end of the day that is what matters, to me anyways. I can get beat all day long but if I have had fun and have a great group of people to hang out with at the races, that is my reward. Sure my competitive juices get flowing once the gate drops but when I cross the finish line I take the results as they come because it is just a race. Accomplishments and accolades are great but you cant take them to the grave with you. Love and respect out weigh and outlast any trophy or money.

I am sorry if I read into the previous posts negatively but the comments made lead me to my remarks.

I am greatful to have the greatest BMX family ever! Rock on UTAH BMXers!

A fantasy is a dream. It's using the imagination in an unrestrained fashion for fun and with no limits. It doesn't matter if it is realistic or not. People who post anonymously and in a negative manner take the fun away. Why feel the need for one-up-smanship? Just have fun like the post intended ....sheesh.

MyBMX fantasy?

1:to see Arielle win the UCI worlds or qualify for 2008 Olympics.

2: to see the sport grow in popularity and publicity to the point where we have tracks everywhere and everyone gets along!

My BMX fantasy would be for everyone to get along and stop all the negativity. It is those negative people that keep this sport from being the best it could be.

I am a part of the wonderful BMX family because of my boys and my husband. For them I am truly grateful and blessed that I can be a part of their sport too. There isn't a sport out there that is as family oriented,self-esteem builing and fun. Through BMX we have developed life long friendships.

Thank you to all that make the sport fun and enjoyable. To those of you that are negitive, you are missing out on the true meaning of BMX. Having fun. :D If you aren't having fun find another sport to bring down.

Keep smiling and I will see ya at the races.

My BMX FANTASY would go something like this:

1. I come home in May to win Saturday at the Great Salt Lake national (turn expert) after being away from BMX for 8 months.

2. I make my main on Sunday (28-35 EXPERT) and head back to Korea for my last 3 months with a huge smile and satisfaction to continue training for my return in September.

3. Return to the states in September and make a run at the '05 Grands!!!

Now 2006 is a totally different fantasy. I've served my country in Korea and now I'm stationed back in the greatest BMX state this side of the Mississippi...lol. The Geddings' TRIO (Austin, Ashlee & Dad) make a SERIOUS run at some NAG #'s. The kids are biting at the bit for me to return home cause they know it's going to be mucho racing, racing, racing!

Ya'll take care...RACE HARD!

You all had great things to say!! and I agree totally!! I do have a lot of fun! and my first post to Jason Stout was all in fun, we like talking a little smack in practice and racing each other. When I get beat big deal!! I get beat at nationals all the time. And if you ask my comp if I'm respectful and a good sport I promise they will say yes!! I hate to lose as much as the next guy but it is just a race. And life goes on!!

Thank you everyone in Utah who make BMX possible and give me a chance to do something I LOVE!!!!

I promise I will only post on a possitve note from now on! and I'll use Gallo's Riiiiiiiiiiiiight!!!!! comment.

I got to thinking about all the old video I have. I think you all would enjoy watching it as I am really squerly!! I'm sure you will get a good laugh and will see I didn't start on top!! I was way scary!!!!!

Everyone have a great day, TP

I HAVE READ AND REREAD THE COMMENTS ABOUT TP LOSING A RACE AND EVEN HAD A FEW MOUNTAIN BIKE BUDDIES CHECK IT OUT AND NOT ONE OF US CAN FIGURE OUT WHY HE IS SO AGITATED ABOUT IT.
IT WAS NOT A SLAM ON HIM AT ALL. IT WAS SIMPLY SAYING THAT EVEN THE BEST OF RACERS LOSE SOMETIMES, AND OFTEN TO A VERY UNLIKELY OPPONENT. TP, YOU NEED TO LIGHTEN UP, YOU TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY. BMX IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN. HOW MUCH FUN WOULD IT BE FOR A RIDER TO GET IN THE GATE AND ALREADY BE THOROUGHTLY CONVINCED THAT HE OR SHE HAD NO CHANCE OF WINNING. WHAT WOULD THE POINT BE? EVERYONE KNOWS TP IS A VET PRO WHO HAS ACCOMPLISHED MUCH NATIONALLY AND WE ARE VERY SURPRISED AT HIS RESPONSE TO SUCH AN INNOCENT POST.
OUR FAMILY HAS GOTTEN MUCH ENJOYMENT OUT OF THIS WONDERFUL WEBSITE, BUT IS SADDENED BY HOW SOME OF OUR BMX FAMILY HAVE RESPONDED TO SOMETHING THAT WE ARE SURE WAS NOT MEANT MALICIOUSLY OR NEGATIVELY. JASON HAS PROVIDED US WITH A FORUM ON WHICH WE CAN EXPRESS OURSELVES AND GIVE OUR OPINIONS FREELY, AND I HOPE THAT WE CAN ALL REMEMBER THAT. AN OPINION IS JUST THAT, AND SHARING IT SHOULDNT GENERATE SO MUCH CRITICISM BY ANYONE. I NOTICED THE OTHER DAY THAT THERE WAS A THREAD REGARDING THE FLAG AND WHAT IT REPRESENTS AND FREED0M OF SPEECH IS ONE OF THOSE RIGHTS. SO LETS RESPECT ANOTHERS RIGHT TO THEIR OPINIONS OR OBSERVATIONS. THATS WHAT MAKES THIS COUNTRY SO GREAT.
IM SIMPLY A BMX DAD TRYING TO GIVE MY KIDS THE RIGHT DIRECTION IN LIFE, AND I DID NOT WRITE THIS TO OFFEND ANYONE. IT IS JUST FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
JASON, I AM A GUEST ON YOUR WEBSITE, AND I HOPE THAT I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING IN SAYING WHAT I HAVE THAT WOULD MAKE YOU ANGRY WITH ME.

THANKS FOR LISTENING,

CJ AND FAMILY

Okay, this is off subject a bit, but my BMX fantasy is this:

1) Get a 3rd or higher at GSL nat's this spring
2) Be the 1st girl pro crusier
3) Write for the BMXr magazine for a living
4) Be the best I can be. No matter how good anyone else is, I can be as good as I can.

C ya!

CJ,

It was the word whooped! not losing! I've been beat many times, so what! and the fact that whoever posted didn't even know what they were talking about. I got whooped in the moto and the main? this didn't happen! so why would I be upset? I don't know, If I got on here and made a false statement about you would you feel inclined to defend yourself? It's not about winning and losing, It's about someone taking a pot shot at me and doing it by saying something that isn't true period!
again, Have I gotten beat before? of coarse! many times. If you beat me feel free to be proud of it and say whatever you want about it, I don't care. But if you post and fabricate facts and don't put your name on it then expect me to respond.

And not to be negative but how well do you know me? I take myself to seriously? are you kidding me? Thats why in the last pro moto at rad when Josh Holt basically ran into me in the second corner I was laughing about it. Thats racing no big deal! You are suprised to my reaction to such an innocent comment? well, if it was the first so called innocent comment by an unamed guest then fine, but it's not. I'm sorry you feel Saddened by someone saying hey enough is enough! say what you want about me but the line is drawn when you flat out LIE! I guess you teach your kids that if someone lies about something you did that's ok?

When did I not RESPECT someone elses opinion? and their freedom of speech? I guess I don't have the same right? I'm as American as they come! And I'm not above agreeing to disagree on any subject. I teach my kids to stand up for their selves and don't be ashamed of their opinion. Do it proudly! don't say things about people that are not true and hide behind a key board while doing it. If it was an innocent comment as you said then the GUEST could have said hey my bad I didn't mean it that way and it was four years ago and maybe my memory of the events was wrong.

For the last time, If you don't know me Pleeeeeeease don't judge me! I do my best to be a good father and husband and behond that everything is secondary! so if people think I'm to serious or whatever I'm sorry and I'll try and do the best I can to be an honest trustworthy person as I have done my whole life! I try and treat others the way I want to be treated!

CJ, If you take this wrong I'm sorry!! I am really not that upset about it. just standing up for myself. I posted all my posts with a smile on my face! If you feel so inclined please come shake my hand. I would love the chance to change your mind about me taking myself to seriously. TP

Let's use Dani's post as an example and take this thread back to the fun topic it was suppose to be. If someone posts something negative, find the good in it and leave the bad alone. Don't drag it on. BMX is a family sport, not a political one.

My fantasy is to go out to the indoor facility and build the track all day long!!!
Then I am dreaming that all the kids will come out and enjoy a great weekend of racing, improve their skills, take a clinic from some great riders in our sport and race a State championship qualifier!!!
Hope my fantasy comes true!!! :D
