This is Mike Savage, an east coast racer who is known for his killer turn-downs. This is from BMXA 1988.

Now this is old school.......Matt Spencer, Jeff Waters & Pokey Dale at Rock Springs last year. Look at the steely look coming from Sheldons eyes!

Here's a pic of me in the Patterson stuff & my bro in the Race Inc. gear. I think this was X-Mas 1983.

This is the one of the BEST pics I have of Dave Wray. This was taken at some trails he hit up in Alaska.

I hadn't put my grips on yet numb nuts! I had gotten new pants, sticker kit & "Stu" bars for X-Mas & Andrew got that new Race Inc. uniform.

Iv'e noticed from e-bay if i still had those bars they would fetch around 2 bills.

I'm glad everybody likes the pics. More to follow. I think I even have some of you from 93-94' Todd, sporting a sweeeet 70's porno mustache. :P

Had this one from a few years ago at a gold cup final in Santa Clara!
This is one of my favorite pics of me and one of the coolest tracks I have ever raced at!

That pic had to be from before springtime 83', i'm saying that because they replaced that old wooden gate with the blue steel one. I did race on that gate in late 82' to 83' spring. I don't recognize anybody in that pic other than prob Stu Story in the SE gear down below. I bet Sleater or Roland could ID a few of them.

I'm very glad some of you are starting to post up here. I know TP has some sweet old pics as does a few more members in here. I'll try to get my scanner to work & post up more of the old collusium days.

Hey b,
I know that is one of the Tauls behind me in the gate but I dont know if it is Heather or Scott? Kinda depends on if it is a race or practice! The pic is a little fuzzy.

This is a great topic and I have really enjoyed seeing all of the pictures from way back when.
I tried to put something together last year about the history of BMX but never was able to get it off the ground
Now with our membership drives coming up and the BMX Camps we have scheduled, I would like permission from everyone posting pictures on here for me to print them off and finish what we started last year, I had plans to put together a scrapbook or a big wall of the history of BMX from the begining to now, for those just starting to see where it came from and to give the young kids, or people like me who knew nothing until a few years ago, a since of why this sport is so important to some.

If it is ok that I use these pictures please let me know soon, and if anyone has more I would really like them as well, post them here, or send me an email before hand letting me know you will be sending a pic to my inbox so I know to open it.

Thanks,
Diana
