Or the Temple Quarry trail.
.........is not a DH trail!
I rode up Sunday morning & passed 4 dudes that I know in full face & gear, DH rigs. I know where they have been & that's ok but you need to peel off before the Scout bridge & ride down the rest of the road.
Why?
Because 2 things, one, hikers.
There have been complaints over the years by hikers that DH guys coming out of the secret part are creating a problem bombing the rest of the trail. I have been keeping up with these reviews over the years & if it keeps up you'll see the trail either ban bikes or go to a odd/even which is BS.
2nd, when I hit the trailhead there was a Ranger already up there. If you get caught on BLM land, the fines are not cheap & you could have your rig taken. Just saying.
This is my local trail & I have been riding it since 1990. I would hate to see a few affect the majority.
Now I'll get off my soapbox.
