I talked to Darrin Cook today to catch up. He says the complex is basically shut down right now. He's not sure what their next move is. I asked if he knew anything about the BMX track & he said no. He did say if & when the track ever gets running again he would be more than happy to lend a hand.
Unfortunatly Darrin was also part of the County cutbacks & lost his job. He's got some good leads though & I even turned him on to our company, who are hiring journeyman electricians right now.

My personal opinion, DP is done. If the County has not only cutback staff but I'm sure the track would have to pay for everything it uses. Electricity, water, everything.
Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt it.

I'm sorry to hear that we are most likely losing DP. We have a lot of great experiences there and are sad to see it go. With the addition of Legacy and Redhills in the last few years the BMX scene has been growing by leaps and bounds, so it is unfortunate that we are now losing tracks.
