Rad Canyon, Inc. is a non-profit corporation, licensed in the state of Utah. Our mission is to promote and conduct bmx racing at the following county owned facilities:
• Rad Canyon BMX Track, 9870 S 5200 W, South Jordan, UT.
• Salt Lake County Event Center, 2100 W 11400 S, South Jordan, UT.
• The Legacy Center, Davis County Fairgrounds, Farmington, UT.
All revenue generated by Rad Canyon, Inc. is used totally to promote, conduct racing, improve the outdoor facility, and improve the quality of bmx racing.
Rad Canyon, Inc is governed by a board of 9 directors. The directors comprise current and former bmx racers, parents of racers, industry leaders, community leaders, and business owners / managers.
Each year the directors elect officers from within the board to run the activities of Rad Canyon. These activities include all racing efforts and business related to the corporation.
For the current year, Ron Melton is the elected president and responsible to the board for all Rad Canyon activities.
Recently, some misguided or misinformed parents have voiced concerns regarding Rad Canyon activities.
• As stated above, Rad Canyon, Inc. is a non-profit corp. and by charter all funds generated are used strictly to promote, conduct, and improve the quality of racing in Utah.
• This commitment requires that we remain competitive with our entry fees, but at the same time, cost continue to increase (especially the indoor). The new $12.00 entry fee allows us to continue our quality program, yet remain one of the cheapest entry fees nationwide.

I wanted to make a donation to Rad Canyon when you guys were raising funds for paved turns, at that time you were not Non-Profit. Does this mean you have since filed with the IRS and turned Non-Profit.
I am interested in donations, but need the tax deduction.
