olympic race day

Postby Skew » Mon Jun 11, 2012 1:05 pm

Are all Utah tracks doing racing on June 23rd? If so what times are they all starting. I'd like to hit a couple of them if that's possible.

I know that Legacy, Rad, and Deseret Peak are all running a race. I think Legacy is reg/practice 9-10, Rad at 1, and DP at regular 5-6, but I'm not 100% on that.

There's been talk of turning those three into a series. I haven't heard what Redhills or Virgin are doing.

Thanks Justin,
It would be fun (and exhausting!) to do all three races in one day. I hope the schedules line up to make that possible.

I saw on KSL Classifieds Legacy BMX posted an ad for Olympic Day, nice work Kevin. I would be carpet bombing all those sites all day tomorrow if i was a T.O. for any track in Utah.........

Racing cruiser and class all day was finished off with a thorough sand blasting at Deseret Peak at the end of it all. Olympic race day was totally fun. Thanks to all the tracks for participating in it. I imagine there are many costs that don't get covered on a free race day, so thanks for the free ride!

Many thanks to the TOs, staff and volunteers for an exciting, fun, and free Olympic race day. Well done!

Special thanks to the 40+ Lady's class who convinced Kristin to race at Rad! She had a blast.
