DESERET PEAK BMX TRACK USABMX

Postby onephastkiss » Mon Apr 30, 2012 9:20 am

I URGE EVERYONE TO COME OUT TO DP TO RACE THIS SUMMER! WITH AN ALL NEW TRACK DESIGN AND A LAID BACK ATMOSPHERE IT SHOULD BE GOOD TIMES AS USUAL. BRING THE FAMILY (PETS) AND PLAN ON STAYING LATE (ROLAND ALWAYS KEEPS THE TRACK OPEN AFTER THE RACES SO WE GET IN PLENTY OF PRACTICE/ TRACK TIME) COME EARLY (FOR THE POOL) AND CHECK OUT THE ENTIRE COMPLEX (BRING YOUR 9 IRON AND PUTTER) THEY HAVE PUTTING GREENS AND SAND TRAPS ADJACENT TO THE TRACK! I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT THERE. CARPOOL WITH FRIENDS, BRING YOUR RV's, AND LET'S ALL GET BEHIND ROLAND (HE HAS PUT ALOT OF HIS TIME AND MONEY INTO MAKING THIS A WORLD CLASS FACILITY. I KNOW HE HAS SOME GREAT/ FUN EVENTS PLANNED, SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THE FUN. REAL BMX WITH REAL DIRT TURNS AND BIGGER AND FASTER JUMPS.

Thanks for the timely update Justin!

The new rebuild looks like its going to be a blast to race on. Can't wait to come play. Great job to all who helped push dirt to make such a great place for us to race.

I know Roland dug deep into his own pockets to get this done! Courtney Green and Tony Huff helped build and design it and please feel free to let us know who else was out there diggin'! Now let's all get out there for practice and racing so we can get more redline cups, double points, and maybe even a National (in the next few years). Keep your eyes and ears open for the pump-track and dirt-jump section that is in the works for the facility. Gonna be a fun year to race bmx in Utah!
