Outdoor Practice / Racing

So since the indoor season is winding down I am wondering when things normally start up for outdoor season or even just outdoor practicing. It seems like Mid-March - Mayish is going to be a long, long, long wait to get my new fix!

There really isn't much in the way of any down time this year. Legacy indoor is running over the next two weeks (and open all of next week), Then redhills two weeks after than, rock springs one week later, redhills again 1 week after that. That brings us up to the second weekend in April. Deseret Peak Outdoor is hoping to get things started 2 weeks after that. If weather permits, Rad Canyon Outdoor, Deseret Peaks, and Legacy Raceway often all try to start holding some practices in April as well (Dirt Church Brother Melton???).

I've heard that I street is starting to get pretty good. Most of the skateparks are open as well.

Of course, last year it rained/snowed/flooded all the way into June so who knows.

Virgin BMX in Virgin Utah is racing on Sat's starting in the next couple weeks. You can head down there. They are on Facebook. Their website looks to be down for now.

Grand Valley in Grand Junction is racing on Sunday . 4 hour drive .

But I will be going down to Virgin . Need to get some sun and fun !

I'm taking TP up to snowbird this weekend, we will be talking about cornering tactics, track speed, jumping, punting...etc.
