So this is the last race at RC indoors. The turnout for these races have been awesome. This Saturday is a State Championship Q so I have a feeling alot of the top dog talent will be concentrating on their respective classes. This might open the doors for a few racers that haven't had a sniff of the main in the past 3 races to make it, myself included.
Prizes for Saturday night include a Oden stem courtesy of Lorne Wiberg.
A 2 week membership to http://www.pureworkoutslc.com/ courtesy of Jake Steiger.
There might be some late additions to the prizes so stay tuned.
See you on the gate!

Looking forward to it

Bruce - have you thought about running this on sunday this weekend instead? Your turnout will be a lot better, and that way making the main will mean more. Also, will you be running these at the Legacy Indoor Races?

If RC ran it on Sunday it would possibly take away from the Pro-Am rider count. I haven't been paying attention to the PA so I'm not sure if any older guys are racing in it. Saturday night is not my decision in the end, it just worked out that way. If Jason wants to move it to Sunday that would be up to him & RC to make that call. Looks like on this weekend, it would be better to have it on Sunday IMO.
Legacy....that's up to Kevin. I would really like to see somebody else either help out with the donations or take it over completely. I'm running out of hook ups!
I would love to see this open available at all the remaining indoors including Red Hills, so much fun.

I bet Kevin will be ok with it especially if we tell him we will let him make the main again
If you do a legacy race,I will throw in the prizes, or talk one of our team sponsors into doing some sort of product for both saturdays.

Great race today. Not sure why the class was limited to 14 riders as I was told but it was fun none the less.
Dilley finally wins one w/ Baumgart taking 2nd, awesome!
Heather Allred Elliott took home the Gym membership (she was stoked!) & Steve Olsen won the Oden stem (he was stoked!).
Thanks to all of our sponsors for flowing me these prizes to give out. I really appreciate it!

Yea, a bunch of us who usually make that main were turned away. Figured it was Bruce's strategy for finally making the main, but I also heard that they didn't want to have any quarters/semi's. When people complained about pro-am being limited to 14 riders for the same reason, they opened it up for an extra 3 minutes of registration and let another gate full jump in.
I figure if you want this race to be legitimate, you shouldn't limit who (over the age of 28 ) can sign up.
