Here's the perks of entering at a glance.

- This event will be proudly sponsored by your friends at COG Gear!
- All riders making the main will receive a COG sticker.
- One lucky rider will receive a COG shirt!
- Free entry fee for the night!
- B.J. @ Laketown Bicycles - I will donate a complete bike overhaul to a Novice that places in the top 4 of any moto.
- SixStringSteve donates -
I'll throw in a GoPro helmet sticky mount for the following categories:
- any novice that makes it past the first qualifier.
- any female who makes the main.
- any 40+ who takes first.

Anybody that wants to throw anything else in the pot, feel free to get ahold of Gallo or myself.
Thanks to all that have supported this new class.

Wow, & thanks to all of our sponsors. I'd like to shut this part down right now & save more prizes & sponsorships for the next race. Trust me, the next race will have even more swag.

OK, here's the deal on how to cash in your prize, if your not handed one during the mains, come see me & I will write down your accomplishment & pass it along to B.J. @ Laketown & SSSteve in person or on here. I sit over next to the GT tent on the S.E. side of the building.
You racers that show up on Friday night make sure you spread the word.

What a fun race, and a great free sampling of the beating I'll receive regularly when I start racing cruiser. Thanks to everyone who helped put it together.

B.J. I took fourth in both motos, however there was only 5 in our moto to begin with. Still count?

I think I owe a few people GoPro mounts. Let me know if you met any of the above criteria.

31 riders. Thanks for making this a HUGE success.
The main makers...........

The last turn, Todd Parry leading Jonas Harmon.

The next race will be in 2 weeks.
I would hope we can add even more riders to this class. Staging up for the 1st moto, at least to me had the feel of a national. I had only raced against 1 or 2 of the guys in my moto in the past out of the 6 & I was amazed how fast the intermediates are.
If this class doesn't make everybody who enters faster, I don't know what will.

Thanks to Rad Canyon for letting us have this class. 8)
Stay tuned for the next flyer on the next event. More prizes, more excitment & more.......training, lol.

great pics! I got almost all the motos from the 28+ open on film. It'll be a few days before I get it edited, but I'll eventually get the videos posted to YouTube and link it up here.

Dang, what a fun race! Thanks for letting me play. The race had such a great vibe and as an intermediate, it was a total riot to get to play with all of my Utah BMX heroes. I did not think it was possible, but my respect for each of you has gone up several notches. As someone noted above, if this does not make us faster, I don't know what will. Count me in again for next time.

Skicruz

Let's play bikes!

P.S. I still don't know how TP "appeared" in my lane 1 1/2 inches out of the gate. Amazing!

TP gets one "brain-fart" per year in the gate, so he's good to go in 2012!
