Not so hot for me, we really don't have curbs, so i am trying to think of a way off the track to practice.

see if you can manual an entire square on the sidewalk.
Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
try a parking lot with stripes for the parking spots. a slight downhill may help. see how many spots/lines you can go across.

have you looped out yet? Make sure when you lean back that your head does not move forward. By leaning back, you lean your shoulders back, back back, and chin up, not down.

nope... I will have to work on it more next week. The flat tire put a quick stop to my practice and could not get it fixed till today. I did not have time to practice today, just got my bike ready for tomorrow.

Re: 28-35 Class Happenings
reapers , if you cant get the front wheel up you may need to move your rear axle forward in your chainstay, that or your bars may be too far forward .. plus i can manual my park bike on flat ground about 20 yards, but my race bike i cant for ten feet but at speed and on doubles when i commit i can manual anything on the track. dont let it discourage you, you dont race on curbs or flat parking lots best way to practice is on the pump track or on the actual track. i go out to tooele on sundays now and then just to ride the track and stay comfy on my bike thats the best way to learn manualing. forget head back , head up, feet flat back arched becuase when YOU find what works for you, youll be able to do it. i manual standing up a bit taller than i should but it feels good to me and it works for me. find what works for you , they key is you have to commit to the manual everything else will come naturally with trial and error ! good luck buddy ! youll get there
