New Years Eve session @ Draper Bike Park

Postby sixstringsteve » Mon Dec 26, 2011 11:14 am

Who's in? I'm thinking 1-4 PM or so. Maybe we could fire up a grill in the parking lot or something.

With no snow in the forecast this week, it might just be perfect conditions again.

The bike park is at 1600 East Highland Dr. (13675 South) in Draper. It's just west of the Corner Canyon Equestrian Center (in fact, they share a parking lot). It's north of the Draper temple.

Dakota and I may head up in the next couple of days to see if I can stay rubber side down before showing my face around the fast guys. Hopefully we can make it for the tail end of Saturdays event as well.

Collin and I are in. I have to work later in the afternoon so we'll be shooting to get there by 11:00. Sounds like fun!

Nice! We need to get some flyers to pass out at the parks.

Looks like we'll have a nice little turnout this weekend.

Where is this place at?

I have to work until 2pm, but I might try and sneak by there for a few after work if I can.

Dakota and I went there today and had a blast. I am too paranoid to take some of the turns very fast, especially the ones still covered in snow, but they all held just fine. The last jump on the intermediate track had quite an indent near the lip that made it a pain to hit, but the rest of the beginner and intermediate tracks were a blast. I need to learn to jump a little bit better before I hit the advanced track, but it looks like a blast too.

Hopefully we can make it there to play with you all on Saturday. As long as Steve's Mommy will let me play too.

Yeah, someone added a "bump" to the lip of that jump. It really doesn't feel that great, but Ty and Logan make it look easy to jump.

My mom says you can come too joker.

But my mom says I'm not allowed to hang out with Schuler.
