I know that two of our biggest supporters of local BMX, Laketown and Wild bills have some good deals going on.

I like the Haro bikes, they are built well, and color schemes are always good.

Thanks Jonas, point taken. I can definitely see the value in supporting the local shops.

I wish there was a better one here in Davis County. Sort of a catch 22. The shops here in Davis County won't carry more than a token selection of bmx race bikes because they sit in their inventory all year long, no one shops in their stores for bmx race bikes because their inventory and expertise is so limited.

go bug Taylor Felt at Bountiful Bicycles. Hopefully the Farmington track drives some more interest and then the shops will want to carry more.

Finding the cruiser is only half the battle. Its the whole "hey-honey-I-know-we-just-spent-a-ton-on-Christmas-and-birthdays-and-aniversary,-but-look-at-this-cool-bike-I-just-bought-for-myself.-It-really-brings-out-the-color-in-your-eyes.-Did-I-tell-you-your-looking-wonderful-today?" thing. So . . . I got to let things marinade for a bit.

I'm thinking now about a new GHP pro 24 cruiser, maybe a new haro pro 24, or if I can find a good used I might jump on it.

you should teach classes on how to get buy-off from the wife. I think I could learn a few things from you.

Hey Logan, you're welcome to race my 26" for as long as you'd like until you get a cruiser. It's not the lightest bike on the market, but it feels great on the jumps and it's easy to manual. Let me know if you'd like me to bring it, I'd be happy to let you take it home and keep it 'till you've got your own cruiser.

I really appreciate it Steve. But maybe you should take a close look at all the scratches on my 20" from my crashes and reconsider. I may borrow another bike on Sat for the open race, from another generous racer. Friday I don't know if I'll be able to race at all. But if you are still willing to loan out your bike and if you still have room to haul it after getting all your neighborhood friend's bikes up, then lets touch base again and maybe you can bring it for me to borrow, because I'd love to give it a try.

I don't think I'll be racing on Friday either. Believe me, my red 26" has been through the ringer, and I honestly don't care what happens to it. It's my loaner bike that I can thrash on the weekends at the bike parks. Shoot me a text if you'd like me to bring it. I can find a way to fit it in the car.

Yes, I called him this morning. Not exactly what I'm looking for. Nice guy, we need to find him a 20" pro xxl <$200 so he can race with us in our class.

Bike has been ordered. GHP Pro Cruiser. Thanks Wild Bill's! I expect to race cruiser this next weekend.

Question:
Do I need another USA BMX membership to race 20" and cruiser? If so, do I take care of that at the new racer desk at the track?

Yes, every class needs its own registration. The good news is you get a discount for the second bike. They'll be glad to help you out at the new rider/info table.
