I totally forgot about the rankings. HAHA

If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Keep in mind we can always give anyone a "custom rank" of your choosing. Like mine says "Web Guy" and Bruce is "Information Minister", and Brent's declares his innocence of being mistaken for a troll.

I would for sure want a custom ranking. If it could be Fixie that would rule. As far as the rest of the ratings.... I don't want to talk bad about any other bike brands but Staats aren't exactly the bees knees if you know what I mean. Sure they are nice but there are better. GT!!!!

So here are the "ranks" as of right now, after a few changes:

0 Posts = NEXT
10 Posts = HUFFY
25 Posts = SCHWINN
50 Posts = INTENSE
75 Posts = GHP
100 Posts = GT

If anyone has any suggestions for something different, just let me know!

Thanks! I got a ton of work done on it last night so I decided to upload it this morning, even though it's not quite 100% finished. Still have a few things I want to add but wanted to get the new look up and running.

I also "fixed" the links for the forum posts so that clicking it will now take you to the most recent reply to a post, instead of to Page 1 of a multi page thread. Obviously this only affects topics that are long enough to have multiple pages (like the 28-35 New Happenings thread).

Thanks for keeping the site fresh!
Can you change my "rank" to COG, and open that up tp anybody else that wants to self identify as a COG?
I like the new look but do have one question...
Is it just me or is the font getting smaller on the home page?
I keep asking if the COG moto sheets can be printed in a larger font, so it is most likely just me.
Thanks again for giving us a place to share & learn!

dang, you're losing eye sight buddy!!!

at the same time, it's easy to accidentally change the font size on your browser window... "control scroll*" up and down till you find what your decrepit vision can handle...

*hold the control key down on your keyboard and scroll the wheel on your mouse. you're welcome.

Is there a possibility to add a "new posts" button at the top? I've seen it on other forums, where it lists all the posts that have been made since the last time I logged in. If it's a lot of trouble, don't worry about it.

are you asking for a new posts link on the front home page, or on the forums page?

Once you login on the forums page, there should be a few links right above the category names. One of those links should say "View New Posts". Is that what you are looking for?

Cool, glad that was it.

I do have plans to integrate the forums more into the site instead of it being "separate". I'd like to show the current hot topics on the home page in an article format (like the Nationals and Indoor Schedules look now).
