Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
Cool. We're in for Wyoming out this weekend. Thanks for the tip Billy. We'll see ya there on Saturday.
Are there any other 28-35's that I can talk into heading to wyoming?

Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
So, who's the closest to moving to intermediate? Anyone in our class have more than 4 wins? I'm sitting at 0 wins so far.
Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
0 for me so far. If the regulars I've been seeing out at the track I would guess Jeremy might be half way there. ABA has him down with one win, but that's a bit out of date. I think he's had at least a couple wins since the points board has been updated.
Maybe when outdoor starts again there will be others that come out of the woodwork who are closer.

Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
well, I got my butt kicked in SW Wyoming this weekend, but as always, it was a blast. I was the only novice there over the age of 18, so I got to play with the 19-35 inters. Fast group of guys, and I'm proud that I didn't lose by a whole straight.
Here's a video of the first 2 qualifiers:

Missed you guys this weekend. Hope you can all make it out to rad this weekend.

Thanks for representing for us in Wyoming.
Did you race the cruiser too? How'd that go?
See you this weekend.

Haha, I don't think I represented our group very well, but I tried.

I still don't have my cruiser, it's coming in the mail today (I bought it used from Texas). Mike Kelly definitely would have smoked me by at least a straight, probably two. That dude is so fast! There was a 14 yo there who was ridiculous on his cruiser as well. I couldn't believe how quick he was. He jumped everything and made it look so effortless.
I probably won't race cruiser 'till january. That gives you a month to get one Logan. You know you want to

True dat. Got a birthday in Jan we'll see if there's room in the budget.
Did you buy the bike off ebay or something?

Hey fellas, I just got a 20 and am in the 28-35 Inter class. I have not raced a 20 for almost 10 years and am stoked to be back at it. I don't know how much I will be able to race since I race Cruiser and am the announcer and all. I am stoked to see such a big class and can't wait to get out there with you Jobbers.

There have been some killer deals on cruisers on KSL. A redline flight went for $300 the other day.

Craigslist. It's a pink supercross cruiser, just like my 20". Apparently that pink color is now discontinued (since Sammy Cools left SX), and they only made 16 in that color, so I was stoked to find a matching cruiser. I'll post up some pics when it gets here. I still need a few parts for it: stem, brakes, and little things. BJ is going to hook me up with the parts I need.

That's great news BJ! You're joining 20 and I'm joining cruiser. Give me a year or two and I'll be racing inter class with ya. If we keep this up, we'll have 3 full motos of 28-35.
Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
Watching and listening to you guys reminds me why I keep doing this, it's so much fun!
I used to be excited about the thought of winning and moving up but the thought of being more than half way to expert has me pretty nervous, those guys are fast!
Oh well, I can't sandbag cuz I don't know how to do anything but pedal my guts out after the gate drops...
Hope to see all of you this weekend. Can't wait to try my new bike...
Don't forget about the clinic this Saturday! All ages & skills welcome! Even COGs!
Let's go play bikes in the dirt!

Re: 28-35 Novice Class Happenings
I know that some day Cote and his buddies down there in imabaggerintermediaville will get sick of racing a bunch of other fast guys for 1/2 points and they'll all just move up so we can have some full gates.
The real question of course is BJ Harmon-in intermediate??? Guess we all know what BJ stands for....
