So if a guy wins all his state qualifiers...but changes age groups before state finals does he still get state champ plate for his old age group or does it all get washed away and all they have to show for it is state qual wins and points...
I'm reading the ABA rules and it seems that's how it works ??
Does any of that make sense??

Your points are tallied into the age group that you will be for the state championship finals... if you're 35 now, but 36 by the finals, your points will be reflected in the 36-40 age group. Remember, there's not a breakdown for proficiency in the state points. A 36 year-old novice is competing against intermediates and experts in the same age group for that state title.
