Update to Cedar City track....

Hey everyone!

Just thought I should drop in for an update. We are 99% sure we have land!!! Yay! We are working with Steve Hansen who owns the motocross track here (Iron Mine Race Park) to build on his land. We went and checked it out today and its a perfect location, with tons of parking and great scenery, not to mention Steve is an awesome guy! Now, just have to work out the legal end of things and we will be in business!! The only issue we will have out there is that the water is well water, and just using water from the well will not give us enough pressure to run enough hoses to keep the track groomed, so we are looking into a few things with that.

Just was excited and wanted to share! Thanks to everyone who has shown their support and helped me out!

That is great news. Are you still shooting for August as an opening time frame, or do you think you'll be able to get things rolling before that? Make sure that you keep us all updated and let us all know when your website is up so we can keep track of things that way as well. If you let the moderators here know about the website stuff, I'm sure they can get a link on the home page so you can get your info out a little bit easier.

We are so excited, another track close by!!!

The website is already up-it is ironmountainbmx.com. I will be going out to the land next week and getting some pictures and posting them up on the website so everyone has an idea of what it looks like and that sort of thing! Anyone you can send to the website to get the word out the better!! If we can get the legal stuff hashed out in the next few weeks, we should be open before August! I will definitely keep you all posted on the status of the track!!
