B2 Congratulations.

Postby Scott Mckay » Mon Jul 05, 2010 8:17 am

Well there will be no more heckling from the fans chanting bagger anymore, but lets see it for what it really is.

I started seeing Brent come to life last year when he was mixing it up with Clift and Dilley on a regular basis. I'm not one to talk about who was on team sheets and I don't share that info with even the team, but. For a team manager the gamble to use him on team sheets was worth the rider count. I started putting him on team sheets back then and have never stopped since. The one time I didn't use him was a few weeks ago when I knew he was racing the younger Jason Gray and wouldn't you know it he pulled off a win. The last little while I knew he was getting close so I always asked him what he's got for the race today. I'm embarrassed that I ever asked. He was always there to race and win.

After watching yesterdays first races as an expert. I think Brents going to be mixing it up quit well immediately and having fun doing it.

Congratulations on going Expert Brent.

I agree Kiss, no doubt we had fun calling him bagger and it was a compliment. I jumped in a few times too. Now it's time for his due credit thats all I was trying to say there.

Way to go COG!!
You have made the entire 28 & Over Intermediate class faster, now go get the Experts.
We will miss having you in the gate but we appreciate not having to chase you on the track!
Great Job Brent!!

Congrats Brent. You definitely deserve it. Even my untrained eyes have seen the huge improvements you've made over the last couple of years that I have been hanging around the track. Hopefully I'll be able to stay healthy long enough in one stretch to be able to chase you around the track one of these days. Keep up the good work and continue to show the world what you are capable of.

Thank you guys, it really means a lot coming from you all. I'm just trying to have as much fun as I can and hope to be doing it for a long time. Sure, a big part has been winning, but a HUGE part has been all of the great friends I've made at the track. Thanks for cheering me on (those of you that I didn't race ;)) and for calling me a sandbagger... it truly is a compliment. Thanks! And here's to hoping I can hang with those ridiculously fast guys in expert!

You guys are awesome!

Sweet Brent!

I guess now I can stop faking a back injury and get in there since I no longer have to worry about gating up with Brent

LOLz. Faker! Funny guy! But I think you forgot about the rest of the class... Lemon, Schuler, Cote, Baumgart... there's a whole group of "go fasts" in there!
