Does anyone know if this track will be "officially listed" by the May issue of BMXr? In other words, will this track be eligible for the Utah State Championship series. If so, our top 3 finishes will count instead of top 2.

PS Ogden BMX won't be ready for this year's state series (ie open by may)

Being a newcomer to the local BMX scene. It has been a pleasure to see how much effort our BMX community puts into making the BMX experience here in Utah better for those of us who live here and for people who come from out of town to race our tracks. For our kids. I wish I could dedicate more time to help with everything that needs to be done to accomplish everything it takes to keep this boat afloat. Our "people" here like the COG'S and the Meltons, Alveys, Steve Spencer, Heather and Ian w/performance bike parts. WOW!! You guys and gals all are awesome and make it a great experience for me and my family. Look forward to racing this summer.
Think for yourself. Question authority.

Roger Brazell mentioned that the ABA has a requirement to receive an State Qualifier and Race For Life. I believe he mentioned that they must have 5 successfull local races and then they are able to go ahead and schedule those two... I am assuming that maybe Redline Cup is the same?? Roger and Michelle will head to Arizona in a week and will learn all the great and wonderful things about it there!! Lets support them if we can so we can get more of these multi point races!!

FYI the track is located right next to the Richfield Golf Course, if you like to Golf and if you take the family to Sevier County, it is worth bringing the ATV and doing the Piute Trail or making the 25 minute trip up the mountain to Fish Lake. It is soooo beautiful up there in the summer and it is nice and cool on those summer days! If you like to fish, Jeremy and I always go up and rent a cabin and a pontoon boat and try to catch us a Macinaw (they are huge!!!) and the kids are so facinated by the fact that Fish Lake is an Inactive Volcano and there are places that we have never been able to find the bottom!!!! Richfield was originally named Warm Springs, which it gets from the Monroe Hot Springs. These are on the mountain and are super fun to go relax in!

I also love to take Kale to Freemont India State Park in the summer to see the Indian ruins. He loves getting a bow and arrow and going back in time for a while! Richfield has the old town feel with the main street shopping stores (which are great!) and corner cafes but still has the modern things we are use to!! Richfield has a great County Fair with a sweet Demolition Derby and horse racing! I will tell Michelle to try and schedule the SQR on this weekend! I realize I might be a bit byas about Richfield, but it is a beautiful town and there is never a shortage of things to do if you like the outdoors!
