Rad Canyon Work Party This Saturday April 10th!

Well... the rebuild is completed and now we just need a healthy and ambitious group of Utah BMXers to come out and put the last bits of TLC in to getting Rad Canyon "race ready" for the season. The county will be turning on the water for us this weekend so it should give us a good head start on prepping the track and getting in some early practices.

The work party will be from 10:00am to 2:00pm this Saturday April 10th (weather permitting). Please bring out your own rakes and shovels in case we run out.

The triathlon season kicks off this weekend in st george for our family. Would love to help out next week during the week if there is more to do.

Well I guess all of you guys are just going to miss out then this weekend. I was so pleased with the rebuild that I was going ask Ron to change the name from "Rad" Canyon to "Gnarly" Canyon. I guess the few of us who show up on Saturday will get to partake of the early fruits of our labor and get our "gnarly" on without the crowds

With the weather not cooperating over the next few days we will reschedule the work party for next Saturday April 10th from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Please plan to come out then with rakes and shovels in hand to get the 2010 Rad Canyon dialed in.

for you guys that arent too worn out after the work aprty, the alpine "801" trails are having the DEMON DIRT JUMP JAM, this will be a sick event for those of you who are into dirt jump and for those of you who have not seen a live up close dirt jump event, you should check it out, these guys go HUGE!.hit up christian peper on face book for directions!! hope to see some of you there as well!

THANK YOU to everyone that showed up to the track yesterday to help with the finishing touches. It is coming together nicely.

We will be holding a practice/work party today (Sunday) at the track from 11:00 to 2:00pm so come on out and check out the NEW Rad Canyon track for 2010! It is still a little soft in places but the more people we can get on it with their bikes the quicker it will pack in.

Be on the look out for a practice schedule to be posted soon so you can get plenty of time in on the track prior to the May 6th season opener race.
