Tandem on a seesaw. It's hard enough going over one of these things by yourself let alone a bike that is 20ft' long. I've always wanted to go out to RC & ride one of these with maybe TP at the the helm. Can you imagine what the rythem section at speed would be like!

Let's get in the way-back machine to the mid-70's shall we & see what the early days of BMX were like in Oregon.

Very cool. Does anyone have any video of "Death Valley" at the old Riverview in Murray, or any from the first Jordan River (1980's - not 1990's at the OHV park)?

A wee bit of video from Sunday's racing... my 5 year-old Lucas in the first clip and my wife Shauna in her very first race in the second clip.

"Crazy" Ronnie Anderson w/ Mike Redman a few years back.
Ronnie was & is one of two of my all-time favorite pros. He won the ABA title back in 1985 but should of won it in 86' also. If I remember correctly he had a HUGE pro points lead by the summer of 86' & forgot to or refused to renew his ABA membership & the ABA stripped him of his points. He was about as dominate as a racer could be for about 3 solid years in the mid-80's. He tripled (AA, cruiser & open) many times & was an all-around talent on the bike. His brother is Ritchie Anderson.
The guy was pretty much hated by most of the AA's during that time because he played alot of head games with them, most famously w/ Pete Loncarevich & Greg Hill. While most pros hated him he was a fan favorite & when I met him in 1985 at the Slat Lake nat, he was very cool to me & gave me his autograph. The guy IS alittle off as Steve Spencer can attain too but he'll go as an alltime great as he's already in the ABA Hall of Fame, class of 2000.

Re: Video of the day!
The best BMX movie of all-time & here's one of the most memorable scenes from it.............

Hey, don't laugh! This movie actually did pretty good a the box office. I remember reading about the making of this movie in BMX Action & couldn't wait for it to come out. When it did, a bunch of us went to the Redwood Road drive In & watched it. Mid-80's at it's best!
