That is a sweet looking first turn. From the pic it looks like it is super smooth. . You all are going to love your new paved turns and even though it doesn't take away crashes altogether, you will never crash from the dirt giving way. It is much safer.
Have a blast Utah BMXers :D :D

At this time, I believe only turns 1 and 2 are being paved.

Well the first two turns are the only ones that really need it. I guess doing the third would be for looks mostly. Not only are the turns going to be a million times better now, but the rest of the track will be in better shape too since the maintenence crew will be able to give more attention to the rest of the track instead of having to worry about loose dirt and watering the dirt turns. It will cut down on water usage as well. I'm really surprised Rad Canyon hasn't paved the turns sooner. Was it just a financial issue or what? Anyways....Thanks to everyone at Rad Canyon for always making the improvements!

do paved turns make you contemplate a tire change? I'm running Holy Rollers f&r... should I consider a micro knobby now?

I ran holy rollers on the track tonight at practice on the new turns. They ran perfectly fine so I think you'll be good.
