Rad Canyon BMX update 9 June thru 14 June 08

Postby mackdaddy » Mon Jun 09, 2008 1:44 pm

Ok we didnt get the work on the turns done last week. The weather is making it very difficult to get the work done.

We are planning on the track being closed all week for the Paving and work to be done on the turns

SO AT THIS POINT WE ARE NOT RACING TUES OR THURS OF THIS WEEK!

HOWEVER,if the weather doesnt cooperate and we cannot pave, we will schedule the track open for practice and /or racing.

Please check your email and www.utahbmx.com for more updated info. We will try to give you as much notice as possible if any changes are made.
If you are not able to check the internet easily, and want to know what is the latest word, Text me (Jason) at 801-860-9357 or call Ron at 699-9575.

Sat 14 June Deseret Peak BMx Tooele Race for Life Reg 5:30 to 7pm
(I do not know if it is a Double point or not)

As of Tues 10th at 9am. Here is the latest regarding the paving at Rad Canyon.

We have raised the money, scheduled the work, but the weather has not cooperated! After trying for two weeks to get our turns paved, We are now postponing any paving work until the first week of July (1st thru 4th). Therefore, all scheduled practices & races for the rest of June WILL Be RUN per the schedule.

Tonights practice & Thur's race will be run - weather permitting

Thank You for your continued support & understanding.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

Do you have any additional practices in mind before the national? I am sure it goes without saying that some (all?) would like more time with the new turns to keep the home field advantage
