Amy Mah get's her first win!

Postby JasonStout » Sat Sep 29, 2007 4:34 pm

After a couple of seasons of racing the men...Amy finally dusted off her sweet cruiser just in time to complete a total points class in the 31-35 girl's cruiser class the last night of outdoor racing at Rad Canyon!

Amy lead her laps against a couple of rookie lady cruiser riders to solidify her first BMX victory!

Congrats Amy!

(And big props to the ladies who decided to give this sport a try. It looks like more ladies are on the way into the class...Dan- did you buy your wife a cruiser to race? Nice move if you did!)

Amy also qualified to her main in the 28+ novice class!

Way to go- baby!

Just thought ya'll should know!

:)

Yeah, I got my wife a cruiser today, so she will be in that group real soon giving Amy a run for her money! :) It will be cool to see a big group of women in that class.

girls cruiser class

I just wanted to say kudos to the rest of the total points 31-35 girls cruiser class! A belated happy birthday to the other Amy, who raced her first race on her birthday and finished it rubber side down. And how cool is it to have a mother and daughter team racing together?! The daughter is racing five and under and she's looking for her first mini... lucky! I guess I better enjoy this win because I'm certain it won't be long before these girls get really fast.

Thanks to all of you who offer your advice, encouragement, and support. It's good to go to the track and see so many familiar faces. Of course, I wouldn't have two sweet bikes to ride if it weren't for Jason S. No racing without a bike, right?

So... girls, grab your bikes for the best girls cruiser indoor season ever!

Amy

P.S. I've got a spare Staats pro cruiser that's ready to roll if anyone else is interested in racing the indoor track.

way to go Amy!!

It was just a matter of time. Keep getting after it, and you'll be giving that 28+ Nov. class a run too.
