OK, so i want to get more involved.......now what?

Postby greg » Wed Sep 15, 2004 4:13 am

I suppose the state champ has to lead by example, huh. So, now that I got the #1 plate, I need to step it up and help out.

First I'd like to know how the Rad Canyon organization is put together. I've read about references to a board of directors, being incorporated as a non-profit, and also allot of talk about the county parks and rec.

So how is it all set up? Anybody know the facts? Dave....Rob?

I'll be contacting Dave to see what I can do to help. I know that most of you on this site already are heavily involved, but to whoever is not, I guess it is time to give back to our sport, so step up to the plate (or gate, in our case).

so, as TP so wisely once said
Some people need only to be given the opportunity to use a shovel or rake and they would be glad to do so.

Lets start handing out the shovels!!

Hey Greg if you get your foot in the door your a better man than me!!

I learned a long time ago it's best for me to just smile and keep my mouth shut!! I let Dave know if he needs my help I would be glad to do it. I have always gotten along great with Dave and he has been great to me!! but to be honest my involvment the last three years has been about zip. why? good question. Like I said I just try to stay positive, help out when needed and have fun. If you can get involved by all means do it.

Greg,
We are always looking for volunteers to help out in different positions. Sometimes that help in one time, once in awhile or on a regular basis. There is alot to be done at Rad Canyon. We always need lots of different talent and ablilties.
You can talk to Robert, Dave or myself to see wher help is needed at.
If you have questions please email me or talk to me at the track

OK, it looks like Todd is taking over Ian's spot in my posts. Ian, you're off the hook buddy. No more Ian jokes (for now).
