I wrote this in English class the other day. I think it's funny. Enjoy!
My stupid BMX poem
Once I go home, I load up the car
I'm going to the track, no matter how far
Driving is no feat, gas prices are down
I am leaving home, I'll be out of town
When I get there I'll be greeted by Heather and Belly
and a bunch of bmx boys who are stinky, sweaty, and smelly
I'll toss on my leathers, look as cool as can be,
not many can pull that look off, only me
In the gate the adrenaline flies
kind of like a diabetic with sugar highs
The gate will fly down and off I go
Will I crash or not, I will never know
If I land in the soil then I try to get up fast
But knowing my luck I will end up last
If I don't then I'll try to kick some boy butt
but it's like racing rottweilers with a mutt
And if I don't qualify,
I'll try not to cry
Then to home I go and try to sleep
my BMX racing I will forever keep.
