53d Weather Reconnaissance Squadron
I don't know about you, but I would LOVE to fly just once with these guys through a hurricane! How do I get that job?
I bet these guys are pulling some GOOD overtime!

well, first thing you do is join the Air Force.
I was down at Keesler AFB back in the mid to late 80's. These guys were based there during that time. I always thought that they had a screw loose somewhere. I mean, how crazy do you have to be to take off and fly right into a hurricane, especially when everyone else is heading away from it.
And these guys were flying C-130s (although they were labeled something like AC130, because of the electronics, etc). I didn't feel too comfortable flying C-130s in good weather!!
