What a pleasant surprise to see the Taul family back at a BMX race. For those who dont' know, the Tauls were a big-time BMX family in the early-mid 80's in SLC. They were track op's for years & have deep roots in the sport. Scott & I go waaay back racing against each other as older teens & he really brought out the best in me back in the day because he was one of "the guys" to beat. Some of you might have seen Dallas Edwards racing in one of the older cruiser classes today, laying down some sick HP, wearing that open face helmet....... 
He is husband to Heather & Heather is Scotts sister. They had (I believe) 4 racers out today racing & pulling their fair share of the trophys. Dallas was a former #1 in the state as I believe Heather was too. Scott was always a top condender in the expert ranks, locally & nationally.
It's been 20 years since I last saw the Tauls & 12 since I last saw Scott. Scott also said he might give racing another shot next month, awesome.
