Rider Profile Pages

Postby J Gallo » Sat Oct 01, 2005 10:55 am

I'm just about done redesigning the individual rider profiles page, and I'm just wondering:

Is there any new or additional info you'd like to see on the profile?

Also, to make this transition as easy as possible (so that I'm not spending hours upon hours retyping every profile), I'm going to ask that everyone resubmit their profile, so that it will update to the new format. BUT NOT YET!! I'll let you know when, right now I'm just looking for suggestions.

Thanks for your support!

Jason

Just a suggestion I would make, would be to have it bring the template up with the existing profile when I click on (UPDATE) profile and let me make the necessary changes. Then when (SUBMIT) is clicked it sends you the new profile to review then you just apply it instead of you having to make everyones changes.

Very good suggestion!

In fact, alot of the changes I'm making (including some behind the scenes programming) will eventually lead to that type of updating. I might go even as far as assigning passwords so updates (and picture uploads) can be handled by the individual, bypassing manual intervention by myself. But I haven't totally solved the procedure to keep everything "clean".

Thanks!

Well, if there are no suggestions, I'm ready for your profiles.

Please submit a new rider profile and I'll get it posted with the new format. Also, make sure to include your FULL NAME (I got a couple today from Vernal with only first names?, please resubmit!).

If you think of anything in the future, don't hesitate to let me know. I'm always open for suggestions and comments about what you'd like to see on the site.

It would be cool to have a background picture of the persons profile you are viewing, then the 4 pics and the info.. that would be coool, and like saytheir names up the side in a special font or something...
