"No-Clips" race @ Tooele for the 7-30 race.

Postby bnd » Mon Jul 25, 2005 7:09 pm

A nice low-key single pointer out at Deseret Peak this upcoming Saturday night will be the next No-Clips race. I'll pass the word around RC this week so plan on leaving those disco slippers home & lacing up your Vans.

I'll re-post the rules to this $1 Open class race as to refresh everybodys memory.

1. We will run the No-Clips Open as an extra class at the races. DP charges $1 to enter which is a deal to me.

2. You must be 21 years or older & an amatuer to race this Open. No exceptions. If your 17 & want to race, organize your own open.

3. Cruisers will be allowed. It would be nice to see everybody on a 20" but if the only choice you have is a cruiser, we won't keep you out.

4. The top 3 finishers will get their pictures taken after every main, their finishes recorded & picture posted here on Utah BMX.

Jerimiah,
Start promoting the younger division and drag those lazy punks out there! Maybe have a Trophy Dash/Race-off with the top four from both mains?

Jerimiah,

I'm going to be handing out flyers out at RC Thursday promoting the race & I'll go ahead & state that there will be a "20 & younger" class that night too. You just need to start spreading the word to all the young guns to bring their platforms.

I made flyers today that I will hand out tomorrow at RC. A "20 & younger" open class will be available so all you youngens bring your flats.

Also, is everybody up for a BBQ Saturday night too? Should be pleasant weather.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend. Have fun and race hard!

See everyone at RAD next week! (I hope :) )
