How many functioning ABA tracks does Utah currently have?

The reason I ask this question is that it will determine how many State Championship qualifiers a rider has to attend. If we have 4 or more tracks operating a rider will have to attend at least 3 qualifiers (along with 10 single point races) to be eligible to a state championship ranking. If there only 3 tracks then only 2 qualifiers are required.

The tracks that I know are operating are Rad Canyon, Deseret Peak and Vernal. I have not heard if Lindon or Manti are racing the 2005 season. I do know that the Ogden and Cedar City tracks are closed.

If anyone has information regarding this please post it up. Please have CONFIRMED information. I have heard too many say "I think" or "I heard" so please verify and confirm.

Thank you,
Steve

I *think* I *heard* through the grapevine that a few tracks *might not* be having them, due to *this, that or the other*. I might be *right but then again, I *might* be wrong. I'm just not sure right now.

Here's the info from the latest BMXer with Upshaw on the cover.

RC indoor - Feb. 13th.
RC outdoor - June 25th.
Manti - July 16th.
Vernal BMX - July 17th. (wtf???) This is alot of traveling.
DP BMX - Aug. 5th.
Battle Bay -TBA
Ogden - RIP.

3 SCR + Finals.

Now, I know this is just hear say, but I'm pretty sure that the 10 singles requirement is no longer there. There had been some discussions over at VBMX some time back, and I'm pretty sure the outcome was that the ABA decided it was "too difficult" for some racers to get 10 singles in a year, so they dropped it.

So Steve, does this mean that you are not just going to concede the plate to me again this year? lol damn!
